Client: GCC-based healthcare leader
Role: Engagement Manager
Role Description: Our client, a prominent healthcare group in the GCC with three complementary business lines—Medical Equipment & Devices Distribution, Consumables Distribution, and Healthcare Equipment Solutions (turn-key projects, services & maintenance)—is embarking on a transformation and strategy project to strengthen fundamentals and drive sustainable growth.
The project focuses on co-developing a comprehensive enterprise-wide transformation strategy that defines clear growth paths for each business unit while unlocking cross-unit synergies in sourcing, logistics, sales, and service. The transformation strategy will be structured around three main dimensions:
Commercial Excellence:
- Go-to-market strategy
- Portfolio and product strategy
- Operating model
- Pricing excellence
- Marketing efforts
Operations & Supply Chain:
- Optimization of inventory levels
- Seasonality planning
- Supply chain efficiency (with benchmarking vs. consumables business)
Support Functions:
- Benchmarking of general and administrative functions
- Identification of efficiency levers and right-sizing opportunities
A Transformation and Change Management Office will also be set up to drive and sustain the change.
Key Objectives:
- Complete a rapid diagnostic across the three transformation dimensions (6–8 weeks)
- Define a sequenced transformation roadmap with quantified financial impact
- Deliver a practical implementation plan with resourcing, timelines, and governance structures
Team Structure:
- Engagement Manager: Former Engagement Manager with experience advising C-suite executives across the GCC.
- Associate: One core associate with expertise in healthcare supply chain for each business unit
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (60% of the time, rest is remote)
Duration: 6-8 weeks (to be confirmed)
Capacity: Full-time (5 days/week)
Start date: Immediately
Requirements:
- Experience working with McKinsey, Bain or BCG
- Experience in Healthcare and Supply Chain
