Role: Consultant - Fashion Retail Demand Planning

Role Description: One of the client’s companies is seeking a highly skilled consultant to support the integrated planning process for one of their portfolio companies, a prominent fashion retailer. 
This role is crucial in helping the portfolio company optimize their planning processes.  They are looking for a candidate with a strong background in demand planning within the fashion retail industry and a demonstrable understanding of the end-to-end retail process. Experience working with global fashion retailers, particularly brands like Lululemon, Athleta, Gym Shark is a plus. 
Our client is particularly interested in candidates who have a proven track record of success in demand planning within the fashion industry, specifically those who have worked with globally recognized brands and possess a holistic understanding of the retail value chain. 

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 

Duration: 2-4 months

Capacity: Full-time (5 days/week) 

Start date: Immediately 

Requirements: 

• Deep understanding of demand planning within the fashion retail sector: This includes forecasting, inventory management, assortment planning, and sales & operations planning (S&OP). Crucially, the candidate must understand the entire retail process, from design and sourcing through to sales and distribution
• Experience with integrated planning processes: The candidate should be able to contribute to the development and implementation of effective integrated planning frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to improve planning accuracy is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The candidate will need to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders within our portfolio company
• Experience with relevant planning software and tools: Familiarity with industry-standard planning software is a plus
