Role: Consultant
Role Description: Our client is looking for a Consultant to provide consulting services aimed at reengineering of the pricing policy, process and templates.
The additional services shall include the following activities, expected to yield specific deliverables in the form of MS Word, MS Excel and PDF format:
(i) Pricing Model Template Development and Piloting
Activities:
- Review the current template used for contract pricing
- Develop a pricing model that can be utilized for all tenders in Dry Lease, Wet Lease and Transportation, covering ST and T&L (excluding Taxi). The model should include a clear cost structure, the assumptions used, an overhead allocation, and calculations of gross and net profit margins. Additionally, it should provide an option for scenario analysis
- Validation of assumptions used in the template, compared to the actuals costs, with the collaboration of the client's FP&A and Pricing Team.
- Build a sensitivity analysis within the template, which should help to understand the impact of using different ranges of the assumptions (e.g as is scenario, best case scenario, target scenario).
- Develop user instructions for the pricing model
- Develop a review dashboard of the pricing, which should provide the approver of the pricing with a summarized version of the pricing template to understand the key assumptions of the pricing in any tender.
- Help the company in benchmarking the gross profit and net profit margins to be used in pricing of different scale of tenders, considering the long-term strategy and the budget.
- Support in piloting the pricing model on actual tenders

- Guidance on profit levels to be used in pricing.
- Development of standard costing principles and templates
(ii) Process Formalization and Digital Enablement
Activities:
- Review the current functionality of the CRM system used for contract pricing
- Review existing processes and procedures for contract pricing and approvals.
- Develop and document the pricing process and define principles of the contracting strategy, including gross/net profit margin targets for different client categories
- Develop functional requirements for the CRM system to support the newly developed process and automate the pricing model created in MS Excel
- Training session and change management

(iii) Pricing policy
Activities
- Prepare policy document of pricing, which should include policies on using the assumptions, authority level of approving any changes in assumptions/data inputs, margins, authority levels of approving any changes in assumptions/data inputs and review process.
